We are looking for a product designer to create customer and colleague experiences that are best in class. You will form part of the product team, working closely with engineers, operations and customer facing colleagues to understand and then design experiences that delight the end user.

Shaping design tasks and backlog - you will work with stakeholders across 4GC to understand design priorities, and ensure any design tasks are shaped sufficiently to be understood by yourself and others.
Designing experiences - you will design best-in-class experiences on mobile, desktop and other digital based platforms. This will be everything from rough sketches through working prototypes to end deliverables.
Agile product design and delivery - you will form a key part of the scrum team, working closely with the product manager, scrum-master and tech lead to ensure good products are well designed and delivered.

You will have several years experience in a similar environment in a similar role, with evidence of products that you have delivered to customers.

Soft skills
•    Stakeholder management, including the ability to present at the most senior level, and to constructively challenge where appropriate.
•    Collaboration; product should be the most highly collaborative team in the business and it’s your responsibility to model and create these behaviours.
•    Prioritisation; there are often many conflicting priorities and therefore the ability to determine what activity is most important is key. This will always be based on a combination of customer value, business value and technical feasibility.
•    Creativity; evidence of problem solving and creative thinking when faced with a challenge.

Hard skills
•    Design skills; working knowledge of design tools (Figma, sketch, invision etc).
•    Prototyping skills; able to turn ideas into working prototypes that can be tested with customers.
•    Experience of using customer centric tools and processes; to ensure we’re designing products that help our customers you will need to have experience of collecting customer feedback, documenting personas, and bringing customer data into the product lifecycle.
•    Experience of agile product delivery; working knowledge of key tools (JIRA etc), language and roles.
