AFIDEP is a regional non-profit research and policy Institute whose mission is to institutionalize a culture of consistent use of evidence in public policy formulation and implementation to address various development challenges in Africa. 8. Project Administration Officer/Associate (Master's Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Development Studies, or related social sciences)
The successful candidate will provide technical support on research, proposal development, project monitoring and management, policy engagement, and administrative support to the Director of Public Policy & Communication.
The job holder will have proven experience in planning, coordination, communication, and monitoring in their work, and should be able to work well under pressure.
Applicants should have a Masters' degree in either Public Administration, Political Science, Development Studies, Development Economics, or related social sciences with at least five years' work experience in a project officer or project management role.
The job holder should also have at least five years' experience at a senior level on M&E, including institutional M&E development and oversight.
