Title     Project Manager

Purpose of the Role :   
The purpose of the role is to lead manage multiple agile project streams within the Digital Identity & Payment Management Transformation Programs.
•    Deliver simplified global business processes for fulfillment utilization of Digital Identity & Payments solutions and respective platform for Digital Customer OnBoarding, Biometric Authentication System like eKYC Management, eVoucher or eDisbursement Management, Agency Banking Solution, eSmart Document Management, Instant Card Issuance System, eCampus Management, eVisitors’ Management, eTracking Management.
•    Management to streamline users’ biometric verification, onboarding experience and secure mobile payment process.
    
Minimum Requirements
Education:   

•    Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science and related courses is required;
•    Master of Science in IT, Computer Science qualification plus a PGD in Project Management is a plus.

Relevant Previous Experience:   
•    10+ years project management experience, and experience with some of the targeted technologies
•    3+ years of experience in financial services
•    A good understanding of agile software development lifecycle.
•    Extensive background with Agile software delivery.
•    Experience being a technical project manager who has managed multiple large and complex programs.

Business Understanding:   
•    Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
o    Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne or equivalent
o    Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tool
•    Working Experience with one or more programming languages including but not limited to:
o    Java/J2EE, Python, JavaScript Libraries - AngularJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, Mobile App Development - Android or iOS
o    Strong knowledge with one or more relational and non-relational database systems: Oracle, MS SQL, My SQL, Postgressql,  MongoDB, Elasticsearch.

Behavioral Skills:   
•    Excellent verbal and communications skills. Provide clear, concise direction to the broader team while delivering comprehensive status to senior executives, HODs, Product Owners , Project Leads, QA & Support Lead, Business Analysts, Business Account Managers and respective Business Heads
•    Strong independent leadership skills with the ability to lead a large team with minimal oversight including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
•    Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
•    Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
•    Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view.

Critical Non-Negotiable attributes    
•    10+ years project/program management experience, and experience with some of the targeted technologies with 3+ years of financial services experience,
•    Good understanding of agile software development lifecycle,
•    Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
       
Reporting Manager (the role this position reports to)    Head of Digital Identity & Payments Practice

Team (roles that report into this position)    Project Lead(s), QA/Support Lead and Software Engineers (Development, QA & Support)

Key Responsibilities   
1.    Identifies, develops and executes strategies and supporting tactics to engage and influence all stakeholders to make needed behavioral changes.
2.    Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution and control.
3.    Manages project(s) with varying levels of complexity and/or may have broad scale accountability for the processes that support initiatives
4.    Ensures end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit
5.    Rigorously manages scope to ensure agreed/approved/appropriate value is delivered and commitments are achieved within time, cost, and quality parameters
6.    Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and works with matrix partners to oversee all phases of the project
7.    Drives the development of business requirements to satisfy business case objectives, customer and employee impact assessments, and communications
8.    Represents the project in various project governance and inter-department forums
9.    Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan.
10.   Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures.
11.    Responsible for managing technology projects, risk-reduction processes with cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
12.    Serves as primary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives.
13.    Responsible for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.
14.    Responsible for clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key project roles.
