Job Summary

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. He/she will also manage the costs on a construction project. They help to ensure that the construction project is completed within its projected budget.

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Assist in Site re-measurements;
  • Valuation of variations;
  • Evaluation of tenders;
  • Preparation of interim valuation among others.
  • Preparation of tender documentation;
  • Perform any other task as assigned by the managing director and/or Management
  • Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs
  • Record Keeping
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with subcontractors

  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantity surveying or building economics from a recognized institution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Attention to detail and systematic approach to work
  • Project management
  • Solution oriented and able to think out of the box
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of budgets and forecast management.
