THE JOB

Radiology plays a pivotal role in modern medicine, and in Kuwait, we're dedicated to advancing healthcare with cutting-edge technology and unwavering commitment to patient well-being. As a Radiology Specialist, you have the chance to be at the forefront of diagnostic innovation while experiencing the rich culture and welcoming community that Kuwait has to offer.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

1. Perform and interpret various medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasounds, mammograms, and nuclear medicine scans.
2. Accurately diagnose and assess medical conditions, injuries, and diseases based on the images and provide timely reports to referring physicians.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as surgeons, oncologists, and primary care physicians, to develop treatment plans based on imaging findings.
4. Interact with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety during imaging examinations.
5. Maintain high standards of quality and safety in the imaging process, ensuring that equipment is well-maintained, and that radiation exposure is minimized.
6. Stay up to date with the latest advances in radiology, contribute to research, and often engage in teaching and mentoring radiology residents and students.
7. Provide detailed and accurate reports of imaging findings, often involving complex medical terminology.

QUALIFICATIONS

The job holder should have the following qualifications.

1.     A Master’s Degree in Radiology or a relevant field from an accredited medical school.

2.     A minimum 3 years of experience post specialization board or fellowship

1. Relevant medical practice License
2. Proof of residency program completion in diagnostic radiology
3. Board certification through an accredited medical board

·       Effective communication skills with both patients and other healthcare professionals as this is crucial for conveying complex information and collaborating on patient care.

·       Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various imaging equipment is essential.

·       The ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with advancements in the field is crucial.

·       Adhere to high ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
