Job Description

  1. Greet patients, welcome them in the Health Facility, inquire their needs and the new visitors ask them how they need to be assisted
  2. Answer incoming calls, deal with inquiries and transfer calls as required to the relevant personnel
  3. Professionally coordinate the daily administration of doctors, staff, visitors and patients at the facility
  4. Register Visitors/ patients according to established protocols once they visit the Facility
  5. Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance
  6. Ensure the patient information is accurate including billing information
  7. Inform the patients/visitors of medical procedures and policy set to enhance order within the facility
  8. Complete all other clerical duties as assigned, ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
  9. Maintain and manage patient records and records of all in and out movement of documents, materials, stock, within the unit
  10. Take patients through appointments as schedule, and any information requested by the doctor
  11. Call patients to schedule their appointments and timings with doctors and any other specialist scheduled to attend the patient
  12. Safeguard patient’s privacy and ensure confidentiality of their information
  13. Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals while aligning them with patients file
  14. Maintaining patients feedback forms and sharing the same with relevant HODs
  15. Perform other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting
