We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Officer with a strong background in digital marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing and executing marketing strategies, enhancing our online and offline presence, and advising management on product and market trends. This role demands a proactive and creative individual with strong communication and analytical skills.

We are a fast-growing company in the hospitality, health, beauty, and wellness industry, offering quality products to clients on their wellness journeys. Based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we pride ourselves on innovative product offerings and exceptional customer service.

The Sales and Marketing Officer will drive sales strategies, execute impactful marketing campaigns, oversee market research, manage product placement, and ensure excellent customer engagement. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company’s vision.


Key Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend high-demand products for placement at retail outlets to maximize sales.

• Advise management on market trends and customer preferences to optimize product offerings.

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.

• Create pricing, distribution, and promotional tactics to maintain a competitive edge.

• Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns, including social media, and SEO.

• Manage and grow the company’s online presence to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

• Analyze digital marketing performance and provide actionable insights to improve results.

• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.

• Analyze product performance and implement strategies to clear stagnant or slow-moving inventory.

• Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative product concepts aligned with the company’s brand.

• Oversee the packaging and presentation of products to create a superior brand image.

• Design and implement visually captivating displays to enhance the shopping experience and boost sales.

• Execute planograms and floor plans to optimize product placement in retail outlets.

• Train team members on product features, benefits, and effective sales techniques.

• Ensure the team is well-versed in the company’s product offerings to improve customer interactions.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies and campaigns.

• Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

• Gather customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.

• Work closely with suppliers, store teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to support marketing initiatives and product launches.


Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.


Experience:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing.

• Proven experience in digital marketing is essential.

• Experience in graphic design 

• Industry experience in beauty, health, and wellness is an added advantage.


Skills:

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics software.

• Strong knowledge of retail product sales strategies and customer engagement.

• Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluency in English and Swahili.

Personal Attributes:

• Time management and attention to detail.

• High adaptability and proactive approach.

• Strong team player with a results-oriented mindset.
