Job Description/Requirements

RETAIL SALES POSITION

City Walk is a registered company in Kenya and has been in operations since 1991 with 25+ branches. City Walk specializes in selling of elegant, unique and stylish footwear, bags, clothes and leather items. We are seeking for experienced candidates for the position of sales assistants who will be placed in our branches to sell the company products such as shoes, clothes and perfumes.

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
It is the responsibility of the Sales Assistant include, but are not limited to provide prompt, attentive and knowledgeable assistant to all clients, support the staff in order to achieve and surpass goals, and to ensure the highest standards of client service are maintained at all times.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties:
1. Greeting customers who enter the shop.
2. Be involved in stock control and management.
3. Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
4. Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
5. Stocking shelves with merchandise.
6. Answering queries from customers.
7. Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor/management.
8. Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
9. Balancing cash registers with receipts.
10. Dealing with customer returns and ensuring approval before issuance.
11. Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes wiping and mopping.
12. Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
13. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
14. Ensuring Customer Follow-up on Calls, Text, and broadcast and give the precise feedback on the Customer Follow-up book.
15. Ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales.
16. Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.
17. Any other duty as assigned by the management/Branch Manager.

Qualification;
Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business-related course.
• At least three years’ sales work experience in a fashion retail industry selling high-end products.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Track record of over-achieving sales quota.
• Excellent communication skills presentation skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Keen attention to detail is essential.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• High level of integrity.
• Experience in Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
