Sales Associate

We are looking to hire a sales associate who will be tasked with selling digital products to merchants (beauty stores, chemists, liquor stores, restaurants, supermarkets etc).

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the following tasks (among others):

• Generate leads by identifying potential merchants who can adopt our products. 
• Develop leads by understanding their pain points, needs and requirements and after that propose suitable solutions from the company’s suite of products. 
• Cold-call leads and book pitch meetings with managers, directors or business owners. 
• Present and demonstrate our products and services to prospective clients. 
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales. 
• Keep detailed client interactions and engagements as well as market updates using a CRM software. 
• Promote and market the Buymore brand.
• Review and track sales performance in line with set performance targets and take corrective action where necessary to meet assigned targets.
• Report on your sales activities regularly and in a timely fashion (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly) to your direct supervisor.

Qualifications

In this role, you will be expected to work with and meet monthly sales targets.

The best candidate should meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably having sold digital products. 
• Excellent communication skills. 
• Strong negotiation skills. 
• Good problem solving skills. 
• Relationship building skills.
