Job Purpose:
To implement marketing strategies through aggressive selling ensuring that there is adequate distribution of company products at the retail end, maintain visibility of the brands through proper merchandising and placement of P.O.S materials at the strategic sites within his/her region

Scope: (Provide any statistical information relevant to the position that may enhance the understanding of the job.  For supervisory positions indicate the number of people supervised, the total who report through other supervisors, and management of external 3rd parties.  Other data may include the value of assets entrusted to the position, operating budgets, sales volume, profit responsibility, and regular assignment of cross functional/cross business responsibilities.)

Vehicles    : One Company van  and  Distributor vans
Data    : Sales and redistribution data, customer profile

•    Ensure achievement of secondary sales i.e redistribution by partner
•    Monitor and report on marketing intelligence
•    Represent the company to external customers through regular visits
•    Participate in selling to ensure sales numbers are achieved
•    Identify and manage Key Accounts within the territory
•    Identify opportunities available in the market such as areas not currently covered and place in the company brands
•    Assist the partner in planning, implementation of the sales strategies e.g Itinerary , on time deliveries
•    Ensure the region is covered adequately for effective distribution of the brands at the retail level
•    Ensure proper management of company assets e.g motor vehicle, P.O.S materials etc
•    Supervise partners reps in the respective regions to ensure they achieve the set KPI’s

Responsibility:(1. Support to the work of others -  provide examples of work done that is essential to the work of other parties.  2.  Impact on Market Status - describe the actions that help secure strongly competitive market positions for  JKUT products - typically applicable to sales, marketing and regulatory positions.  3.  Line Leadership and Capital Assets).

•    Ensure achievement of secondary sales  targets by the partner
•    Build good relationship with Distributors in the designated territories
•    Ensure stock rotation by following FIFO principle in order to avoid expiries
•    Check and report on marketing intelligence
•    Monitor inventory movement, staff and coverage of markets
•    Ensure update of retail data by the partner reps
•    Manage retailer expectations by executing trade marketing activities
•    Replace damages after consultation with the General Manager and Brand Mgr
•    Ensure placement of P.O.S materials in their territory
•    Overall management of retail outlets
•    Ensure adequate coverage of the retail universe by partner reps through regular visits
•    Participate in forecasting of secondary sales i.e bottom up forecasting

•    Sales Management

Qualifications:  (List the education/training, experiences and skills/competencies.)
•    University Degree in business related field preferably Marketing/B Admin
•    Willingness to travel
•    3 Years selling experience at Manager Level
•    Good communication skills i.e verbal and written
•    Fluency in languages i.e English and Kiswahili
•    Demonstrate ability supervise a sales team
