Job Description/Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SALES EXECUTIVE

Sales

1.    Identification of new business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, Website, social media, and  prospects generated by external sources of lead
2.    Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
3.    Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
4.    Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
5.    Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
6.    Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
7.    Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
8.    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
9.    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
10.    Effective negotiation with suppliers  to get best buying price
11.    Effective negotiation with customers   to get best selling  price
12.    Assist in responding to queries from internal and external clients regarding procurement matters.
 
New Business
1.    Establishing and maintaining strong positive relationships with the company’s strong client base as well as new customers
2.    Analysis of products, sales trends, distribution channels, sales targets and budgets
3.    Understanding client requests, consulting clients and managing expectations
4.    Generating new business opportunities by attracting new customers, promoting the company’s services and conducting outdoor sales meetings as necessary.
5.    Understand the industry trends and competition in order to assisting identifying possible strategies and increase sales
6.    Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
7.    Create and deliver qualified opportunities to the director/or relevant  officer
8.    Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
9.    Collaborate with the Director to determine necessary strategic products and sales approaches / campaigns
10.    Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position

Management of Accounts
1.    Make regular follow up calls to existing customers and develop the business through up selling and cross selling
2.    Penetrate all targeted accounts and increase sales from within existing client base
3.    Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as exhibitions, events 

Business Management
1.    Provide weekly sales reports via STATS
2.    Provide monthly data analysis gains / losses / projections
3.    Provide competitor activity  feedback
4.    Identify & maintain standards of sales operations
5.    Maintain full compliance with anti bribery policy in relation to client hospitality
6.    Identifies product improvements or new service opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
7.    Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information using CRM /Excel
8.    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
9.    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
10.    Identifies and evaluates suppliers to get the best quality product and best price
11.    Identifies and evaluates customers to get the best selling price
12.    Identifies and evaluates customers and collect orders
13.    Identifies and evaluates best packaging as per the needs of customers
Maintain Clean and Clear Records  
Maintain Clean and Clear Records  ON  Excel Sheet system as required in an accurate and timely manner.
1.    Maintain copies and  accurate dates on all orders
2.    Liaise with suppliers to build relationships, ensure the best pricing and source alternative suppliers as required.
3.    Ensure inventory is well managed by assisting with counts and stocktakes for each lorry from purchasing, delivery and sales.
4.    Work with Purchasing and Logistics Manager/Director  to ensure the most economical methods of transport are used for importation.
5.    Liaise with the Finance/Director to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all supplier payments and customer deposits into the company bank account.
6.    Other related tasks as required.

OTHER
1.    Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending products.
2.    Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending technology improvements, where appropriate,
3.    Negotiating and identifying bespoke solutions with prospective clients in line with company standards
4.    Ensuring that all sale proposals and agreements are processed in a timely and effective manner
5.    Arranges for  best/quickest and cost effective transportation of purchased goods,
6.    Identifies and develops strategies for addressing logistical barriers,
7.    Maintain Clean and Clear Records ON Excel Sheet system as required in an accurate and timely manner.
8.    Travelling on a regular basis to visit clients

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & EDUCATION
1.    Organised and people-focused
2.    Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders
3.    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Good command in either Spanish or Dutch will be considered an asset
4.    A customer-centric personality and a passionate approach to work
5.    A team-player with the ability to work in a flexible manner and on own initiative

7.    Ability to organize and facilitate training sessions
8.    English speaking skills
9.    Successful track record of assessing and organizing logistics in terms of transport requirements, receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of items.
10.    Highly skilled in establishing detailed procurement and logistics programs to determine appropriate specifications of required items.
11.    Proficient in evaluating existing suppliers to ensure that the organization works with competent and reliable agencies.
12.    Deep insight into coordinating purchases by ensuring that company delivery vare done on time
13.    Knowledge and skills: Knowledge of IMPORT EXPORT Government  policies , taxes, and procedures, Sphere and high ethical and professional standards
14.    Good English Language Skills ( Both written and spoken)
15.    2 to 3-year experience in the busy  organization with experience in complex procurement and logistics environments
