Shop Manager

Job Summary
The job is to manage the operation of shop / delivery business  - from task management of the team members on food preparation, serving customers, delivery, quality maintenance, and display. Also you will always directly communicate with customers on delivery orders and instruct riders on delivery routes.

- About Our Company -
Alphajiri limited transforms locally grown farm produce into unique food products that are new but growing in Kenyan markets ( e.g. "miso" fermented soybean paste, Japanese origin condiment). At our retail shop, we stock our original products as well as many other grocery items from farm fresh items, condiments and dry goods with the same concept as ours. As the company of Asian directors, we also stock Asian products to promote a new food culture. We sell such products at a physical shop in Kilimani and via online. Our ultimate goal is to strengthen the manufacturing industry of Kenya and change the livelihood of local people in Kenya.

- Your job details are below -
- Basically you will always be at our shop (Argwings Arcade, Kilimani, Nairobi)
- Task management of the team members (4 to 5 full-time members), such as customer service, quality check, display, cleaning, cooking, dish preparation, delivery preparation, and offers.
- Serve customers well, present our products well with other members
- Receive all the delivery orders from customers, communicate with customers for delivery time, payment, and other issues, double check the dispatch items, set up delivery route, and give instructions to riders
- Come up with promotion ideas both at physical and online shops and execute
