Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell agricultural products, including:

o    Fertilizers and soil conditioners

o    Animal feed and nutritional supplements

o    Veterinary products and animal health supplies

o    Crop protection products (pesticides, herbicides, fungicides)

o    Seeds and planting materials

o    Farm equipment and tools

o    Soil testing services

o    E- extension services

• Identify and engage with potential customers, including farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural distributors, in various regions.
• Provide expert advice and technical support to customers on product usage, crop management, and animal husbandry practices.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Qualifications:

• A combination of relevant education and experience
• Background in both crop and animal agriculture.
• At least 2 years of experience in agricultural sales or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the agricultural market, including crop management and animal husbandry practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the country.
• Proficiency in using sales management software and tools is an advantage.
• Driving experience will be an added advantage.
