The successful candidate will be responsible for selling solar products and services, developing new customer relationships, and driving sales growth in Mombasa and its neighboring areas. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for solar products in Mombasa and surrounding regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including homeowners, businesses, and institutions.
  • Provide detailed information and technical advice to customers about solar products, including solar panels, inverters, and batteries.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competition.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by generating leads, closing deals, and following up on prospects.
  • Ensure timely after-sales service and customer support, including handling queries and complaints.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and pricing strategies.
  • Participate in trade shows, events, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility.
  • Report on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends to management.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar products or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy solutions and the renewable energy market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Target-driven with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Proficiency in English and Swahili.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Mombasa and nearby areas.


Educational Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar technology or renewable energy will be an added advantage.
