The Company distributes food and cleaning products to hotels, restaurants and catering establishments along Kenya’s coastal region.
At least 3 years sales related sales experience.
Sales position is based in Mombasa. The position is primarily office based.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Preparing customer sales orders for delivery.
2. Preparing quotations and pricelists for customers.
3. Ensuring that customers are operating within the Company’s approved credit limits.
4. Attending customer premises to address customer concerns and to capture sales.
5. Facilitating a positive customer experience and providing best service standard.
6. Adhering to Company procedures.
7. Managing customer complaints and communicating with Company supervisors.
8. Representing the Company positively and with enthusiasm.
9. Maintaining effective, friendly and professional communication skills with customers and staff by email and telephone in line with the Company’s ethos.
10. Providing effective, professional and clear reporting in team meetings and by telephone to supervisors.
11. Flexible and able to handle other jobs as required from time to time, including (but not limited to) stock taking and other administrative work.
1. 3 years’ relevant experience in sales related role.
2. Fluent in written English and having strong verbal communication skills.
3. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Word, Outlook and Excel.
4. Diploma or degree educated.
5. Organised and capable of paying attention to detail.
6. Experience with SAP Business One (desirable).
7. Self-driven, flexible and capable to work both as part of a team and independently.
