We seek to recruit competent and qualified individuals in the capacity of Senior Accountant.

Department: Finance

Reports To: Head of Finance

Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of daily and periodic reports 
• Preparation of monthly management accounts 
• Review the trial balance for completeness on a monthly basis 
• Review monthly journals and recommend for approval by the Head of Finance 
• Review bank reconciliations and recommend for approval by the Head of Finance 
• Lead internal and external audit engagements 
• Monthly and periodic financial analysis 
• Preparation of ad hoc reports 
• Preparation of annual budgets 
• End of period closing procedures 
• Ensure that monthly stock takes are done and variances reported and explained

Academic & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Business Management degree or Business-Related Field with a major in finance or accounting. 
• CPA/ACCA qualifications

Work experience and skills

• Previous relevant work experience required 4 Years’ experience in financial & management accounting
