Senior Associate / Vice President

They are looking for a well-established Associate or VP to join their African team, which is currently made up of 18 professionals across different offices, with recent transactions being across Solar, Wind and Hydro.

This position, which is suitable for those with approximately four to seven years of experience, hinges between the client, the stakeholders and the internal teams. The candidate will have a perfect mastery of the financial and marketing issues.

The individual will carry the overall vision of an operation and you must be able to run through the process from the start and is responsible for the controlled progress of a transaction until its completion. With a focus on the execution side of operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Design deliverables (financial model, teaser, IM, pitch) and delegate assignments Advise/Support/Represent the clientâs position with their stakeholders in an operation Participate in the recruitment and development of Analysts and junior Associates Organise checkpoints on operations to take stock of the teamâs organisation, strengths and progress Share expertise, promote the transfer of skills and empowerment by delegating effectively

Main Requirements:

Have a deep knowledge of the Renewables sector and how different renewable technologies work Have a technical background and an understanding of the financial, legal and tax issues Master the technical aspects of various operations (project financing, transfer of shares, etc) Master the content and issues related to the project documentation (IM, financial model, term sheets) Be able to organise and structure a transaction process
