Position: Senior Network Engineer
Level: Middle Management
Location: Nairobi
Industry: Retail / Distribution / Office Systems
Nationality: Kenyan
Age Group: Not exceeding 45 years
Qualification: A Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or similar.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years similar experience.
Role and Responsibilities
• Building, configuring, installing, managing and monitoring LAN, WAN, WIFI, IP telephony related hardware’s and software’s
• Have good experience on installing switches, router, access points such as
• cisco/Alcatel/HP/Aruba/Ruckus/ Huawei etc.
• Good Knowledge of implementing static, dynamic routing protocol, Vlan configurations.
• Have good experience on installing firewalls such as Fortinet/Sophos/checkpoint etc
• Coordinate with ISPs for internet, VPN and MPLS links
• Troubleshoot all network related problems
• Opening tickets to track and document the resolution of problems
• Should have network related certificates such as Cisco CCNA/Alcatel ACFE/ Huawei HCIA
Salary and Benefits:
In the range of Gross of Kshs. 70,000 to 90,000. Medical after probation and transport provided for official duties.
