Senior Project Sales Executive

Job Summary

Responsible for promoting the sale of hardware products through Marketing for brand awareness and Selling for acquisition of new customers, retention of existing customers for revenue growth and analyzing new market trends for better innovations and customer satisfaction,brand growth, and profitability of the organization.

Main responsibilities Operations, Policy and Procedures

• Responsible for Selling hardware products to achieve the set sales targets to create and generate revenue for the business.

• Marketing hardware products to educate and create brand awareness to customers, prospects and generate leads for sales.

• Providing quotations on request by customers through email, sms, calls or what’s app to facilitate making of orders and closing sales opportunities.

• Invoicing Customers accounts and processing their orders as per customer’s requirement, specifications and confirmations.

•Giving backup technical support of after sales services on our products on any issue that may arise on site for Customer satisfaction.

•Responsible for reading floorplans on architectural designs to advice customers of products required for the project to enable them in purchasing products required.

•Reading of door plan schedules to identify and advise the customers on accessories required for proper installation.

• Ordering of stock for hardware products to ensure they are properly replenished in our stock to avoid shortages.

• Performing presentations for projects to educate, persuade and give clarity to enable customers and prospects close business transactions.

•Collection of payment from account customers to ensure credit accounts are paid timely and to safeguard the company from incurring   bad debts. 

•Organising for Carpenter and Plumber meetings to give training on Company products specifically on their use, installation and fixing to ensure proper installation for clients

•Communicating to management on customer’s feedback on Company products for new designs, improvements to satisfy and meet customers’ needs and expectations.

• Participating in staff performance appraisal to monitor and measure staff performance against the set goals and objectives for Company productivity.

•Participating in Interviews with the HR department to ensure right hires and proper fit for the job.

•Maintaining relationships with existing clients by visiting them, providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities and service improvements.

• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information to be sent daily and periodically to the respective users as agreed

 

 

 People

•Contribute and collaborate with all team members across the organization to achieve team work and set targets

•Maintaining good customer relationships to enhance excellent customer service by gathering feedback from existing customers or prospects and communicate internally with team members 

•Maintain Cordial working relationships with fellow workers to create and enhance conducive working environment. 

 

Management

 

•Building customer base of the Company by tapping new opportunities and retaining the existing ones through meeting sales targets for profitability of the organization.

•The Management representative in trade exhibitions, events and conferences to build and enhance Company’s brand and image

•The Management representative and link between the Company and customers, distributors, retailers and others responsible for creating cohesive work environment for all to co-exist and achieve their specific objectives in line with the Companies goals and objectives 

•To continuously look for improvements to operations, realise efficiencies and manage expectations, recommend new opportunities for maximizing profits and to closely study the current market trends for a product and give recommendations to management for enhancement on the same and information on pricing and competitors to enable the management make informed decisions. 

•Obey lawful and reasonable orders, serve the Company faithfully, diligently performing duties allocated by the supervisor on time and proper care, take care of employer’s property and maintaining confidentiality of information acquired while in service to indemnify the Company in appropriate cases.

•Maintain Company core values especially integrity and confidentiality while dealing with all the transactions of the Company at all times.

 

Environment, Health & Safety

•Comply with all company procedures, safety policy and requirements of occupational health and safety including wearing or using at all times your personal protective equipment’s / clothing provided to safeguard/prevent risks for your health and safety and the safety of others as per prevailing company rules and legal requirements.

•Guide customers on all health and safety procedures and practises within the organisation while at our premises to ensure that their safety is taken care off at all times.

•Identify risks within the organisation or your area of work and report to the supervisor, any situation which you have reason to believe would present a hazard and which you cannot correct for corrective action.

•Report to your supervisor any accident or injury that may arise in the course of or in connection with your work and follow the laid down procedure of reporting and investigation into the same.

• Handling any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the management.

Qualifications and experience

•Bachelor Degree/Diploma in sales and marketing or any other related field

•Over 5 years working experience in Sales of Locks and Hardware Items

•Ability to read floorplans and door schedules plans will be an added advantage

•Be an aggressive sales person

•Good presentation skills

• Have a proven record of meeting targets
