Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic thinker and content powerhouse with a passion for storytelling, audience engagement, and data-driven decision-making. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate sales.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop and execute engaging, on-brand content (text, images, videos, reels, and stories) for all platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all visuals and messaging.
  • Manage daily posting schedules and content calendars.

Social Media Strategy & Growth

  • Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to expand audience reach, improve engagement, and increase conversions.
  • Leverage social media trends, hashtags, and viral content to maximize brand visibility.
  • Develop a unique brand voice to enhance customer relationships and brand loyalty.

Community Management & Engagement

  • Actively respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor online conversations and engage with followers, influencers, and brand advocates to foster a strong digital community.
  • Handle customer feedback and escalate issues where necessary.

Paid Advertising & Campaigns

  • Create and manage targeted social media advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) to drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
  • Track ad performance, optimize budgets, and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Performance Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions, etc.).
  • Use insights to optimize content, posting schedules, and campaigns for better performance.
  • Stay updated on social media algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.

Collaboration & Brand Partnerships

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to align content with overall business goals.
  • Partner with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators to expand reach and credibility.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, industry best practices, and new social media features to keep Comet Promos Kenya competitive in the digital space.
