Job Summary

Optimise Outsourcing Ltd is looking for an outgoing and dynamic Supply Chain Analyst for our furniture retail business. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our supply chain operations. Our supplier base is located in China, and you will be responsible for handling the complexities associated with international logistics, seasonality, and inventory management.

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
  • Experience Level : Mid level

Job Description/Requirements

1. Analyse and optimise the supply chain workflow to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

2. Manage relationships with suppliers in China, including contract negotiation and compliance.

3. Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to meet seasonal fluctuations.

4. Implement and oversee inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels.

5. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.

6. Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.

7. Develop and present reports on supply chain performance metrics.

8. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  •  Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the retail sector.
  •  Strong understanding of inventory management and international logistics.
  •  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  •  Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Excel.
  •  Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Knowledge of the furniture retail industry is a plus.
