The Technical Advisor/Clerk of Works is responsible for making sure all aspects of a project are completed smoothly and efficiently through clearly understanding the project scope of works as agreed with the client, outlining, planning and costing resources needed to complete each phase of the project as well as supervising all personnel deployed for the execution of the works.

TECHNICAL ADVISOR/CLERK OF WORKS
The Technical Advisor/Clerk of Works is responsible for making sure all aspects of a project are completed smoothly and efficiently through clearly understanding the project scope of works as agreed with the client, outlining, planning and costing resources needed to complete each phase of the project as well as supervising all personnel deployed for the execution of the works.
The Clerk of Works is responsible for strategically managing the project works allocated in compliance with the company's policies and vision of efficient and timely delivery of projects to the highest standards possible.
Technical Advisor/Clerk of Works will assist the Sales & Marketing teams in reviewing and computing bills of quantities from drawings shared by the clients as well as visiting sites and taking measurements and making presentations to clients.
Requirements
- A minimum of diploma in the field of Building and Construction, Construction project management, Architecture or related field
- Have a wide understanding of the building industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods and legal requirements with at least 3 years working experience in the construction industry in residential and commercial buildings.
- Hands on experience working as a Site Supervisor
- Working computer skills
- Knowledge of architectural software archicad or autocad or equivalent
- Have a good working knowledge of good environmental management, health and safety safe working practices
- Have good spoken and written communication skills preferably a working knowledge of English
- Be persuasive and diplomatic while dealing with clients and marketing the company products and services
- Registration by NCA as a site supervisor will be an added advantage
