Under guidance and supervision of the Head of Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the following:

During Investment Phase

Lead technical due diligence of investments mercial & Industrial (C&I), renewable energy, organic waste treatmentâ¦). Manage and conduct technical site visits to assess viability and/or quality of the project to be financed with internal and external resources. Design Review Review layout, arrangement, design documentation/ drawings, mechanical & electrical system design,ponent/ equipment suitability and warranty requirements, and industry standards. Review the system monitoring instrumentation and SCADA system forpliance, and general review of monitoring systems and equipment to ensure they meet industry standards and SunFunder has appropriate means/ understanding for monitoring project performance. Develop first-year generation estimates and lifetime generation estimates, factoring in uncertainty estimates, to ensure the investment team has appropriately modelled in cash flow and relevant sensitivity scenarios. Analyse technical andmercial risks and define measures to mitigate risks Monitoring: Lead technical / system monitoring (monthly / quarterly) and raise flags as necessary. Participation and animation to Mirova technical team: Participating regular technicalmittee Creating a network of Technical Advisors to support Mirova SunFunder activities Creating a standardised technical due diligence checklist to be used by Mirova SunFunder.

Conduct business development by bringing in new leads/ potential C&I clients for Mirova SunFunder to provide debt financing Shadowing the investment (deal) team from origination to closing. Supporting the risk management function as an analyst Contributing to Mirova SunFunder's investment strategy Support ESG function in transaction analysis and implementation.

We are hiring a Technical Manager to join our Portfolio Management team based in Nairobi to primarily lead project evaluation on proposed investments including project design review and financial model validation from a technical perspective. You will develop and execute technical risk evaluation and mitigation strategies for new and existing investment segments. In addition, you will have oversight on continuous monitoring on portfolio investments and will work closely with the portfolio management team.
You will partner with the legal, ESG, risk,pliance, and portfolio management teams to grow our portfolio of high impact debt investments in existing and new markets and/or segments in a responsible manner.
The position will report to the Head of Portfolio Management based in Paris and the Investment Director based in Nairobi.
