Job Brief.
We are looking for a personable, experienced tele-sales professional to join our expanding team. In this role, you will provide expert advice and information to our potential customers regarding a variety of products and services offered by our company and clients. You will play a key role in increasing our profitability and sales revenue through excellence in customer service and an informed, consultative approach to selling and client conversion.

Telemarketing Job Duties
•    Take incoming customer calls, processes sales, and accepts payment for products and services.
•    Make outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell products and services.
•    Answers questions about product specifications and pricing.
•    Upsell customers to larger products, more extensive packages, or higher priced services
•    Explain product pricing and negotiates bulk or package pricing
•    Accurately and efficiently enters customer information into company databases for mailing and billing purposes
•    Process credit card payments and troubleshoots any issues that may arise
•    Maintain a list of potential leads and follows up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches
•    Assist sales colleagues with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers
•    Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback
•    Monitor order status to ensure that clients receive orders in a timely manner
•    Investigate unfilled, misplaced, or misdirected orders and resolves customer issues as necessary
•    Maintain working knowledge of products and services sold and keeps current on industry developments by reading current news or attending workshops
•    May specialise in inbound or outbound telemarketing or in sales for a particular industry
•    Preparation of sales reports and caparisons of competitors' offer conditions

Requirements and Qualifications
•    Diploma/Degree in the related field
•    3 years experience in a sales related role, preferably in telesales
•    Outstanding verbal communication skills and a positive attitude
•    Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
•    Excellent telephone etiquette
•    Fluent in English language; bilingual a plus
•    Personable and friendly tone of voice
•    Ability to follow scripts without sounding mechanical
•    Ability to handle being rejected and remain calm and collected
