Territory Sales Executive – Central and Eastern Region

We are looking for a competitive field sales executive to develop sales strategies and attract new clients.

Job Description/Requirements

Job Brief:
The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas whilst managing the existing customer base within the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products. As a sales executive they will also research on competitor sales.

Job Responsibilities
•    Daily marketing and sourcing of new clients
•    Driving business growth within the area and expand the market presence by identifying new potential business opportunities and sustaining current clients
•    Work closely with key clients to garner growth and market information
•    Ensuring that payments are managed within set terms of trade, follow up of outstanding payments and highlight issues
•    Develop and maintain client relationship
•    Must act as a bridge between the company and its current market and future markets. Meeting monthly sales targets, prepare sales reports, recording and maintaining client contract data.
•    Maintain customer complaints’ tracker, implement corrective actions and communicate to customers
•    Daily updating of age analysis

Qualifications
•    A degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing required.
•    2 – 3 years’ proven  sales experience  in territory sales
•    Age group between 25  and above
•    Track record of achieving sales targets
•    Must have strong computer skills, including MS Word, MS EXCEL and Outlook

Competences
•    Proven Sales Skills preferably within the respective region (FMCG an added advantage)
•    Knowledge of territorial areas well an added advantage.
•    Strong client management skills
•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
•    Self-motivated and result oriented personality
•    Strong selling and negotiating skills
•    Ability to handle customer complaints, manage conflict, problem solving and resolution
•    Good work ethic and team player.
•    Should be outgoing and focused
•    Customer service, Product knowledge, Quality Focus,
•    Ability to develop and increase business by following up on potential leads with face to face presentation and meetings with clients and providing them the utmost customer service.

Salary Range
30 – 35k
