The product range includes life and general insurance, pensions, investment planning, wealth management, retirement planning and medical insurance.As part of our growth strategy, the Company seeks to recruit a dynamic, passionate, innovative and result orientated professional to the below position;Main Purpose of the Job- (Job Summary)The role holder is responsible for mapping and re-engineering underwriting, renewal and service delivery standard processes.Main Responsibilities • Ensure optimum underwriting quality; aimed at a maintaining a loss ratio that is lower than 65%.• Ensure continuous improvement on speed of service; faster on-bounding time and underwriting turnaround time.• Oversee and monitor renewal process and maintain retention ratio of 85% whilst ensuring premium growth (topline) and maintenance of optimal loss ratio.• Participation in product development committees with a view of customizing new and existing products with the customer in mind.• Champion fraud mitigation activities by continuously appraising prevalent risks and ensuring adherence to set guidelines and process manuals.• Appropriately and thoughtfully collect and allocate premiums as measured through the debtor ratio.• Generate periodic reports for management, internal committees and external authorities• Keep management updated on any developments in the industry may that impact the business.Knowledge & ExperienceThe candidate must demonstrate and possess the following skills and qualifications:• Degree in (Insurance Option)• AIIK Diploma or ACII equivalent• 2 years relevant experience.• Good analytical skills• Decision making skills• Attention to detail• Good Interpersonal skills• Good presentation skills• Technical skills
