Waitress- Bungoma

Job Overview:

Our busy restaurant is looking for a friendly, outgoing and efficient Waitress to provide excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to multitask, and have excellent communication skills. As a Waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will also be expected to maintain a high standard of personal grooming and appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests, taking orders, and answering menu questions.
• Recommending food and beverage options to guests.
• Serving food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
• Processing payments and making change accurately.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
• Following health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Upselling menu items and promoting specials and promotions.
• Providing exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Following up with guests to ensure their dining experience was enjoyable.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Good grooming and personal hygiene
