Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Inspecting equipment to ensure that it is in good working order
- Installing water well casings and drilling underground pipes or tunnels Performing geological surveys to determine well placement, size, and depth requirements
- Installing pumps, pipes, wires, and other equipment at the site of a well to ensure that it is functional
- Cleaning and repairing tools used in the drilling process
- Excavating the ground where the well will be drilled using excavation equipment
- Installing wells as part of commercial or residential construction projects
- Must have physical stamina
- Should have the necessary tools needed to dig the well
- Should have experience in digging the wells
- Should be located within the area for ease of movement
- Should have good communication skills
- Have safety knowledge
