Key Responsibilities

● Organize career fairs, workshops, and training sessions tailored to the interests and needs of youth. Ensure events are engaging, relevant, and deliver value to participants.

● Develop strategies to encourage youth participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment. Promote activities to increase event attendance.

● Collaborate with local businesses, community leaders, and educators to design relevant and impactful programs. Adapt content to meet the diverse needs and interests of participants.

● Work with external partners, speakers, and facilitators to secure resources, sponsorships, and expertise for events and workshops.

● Track participant engagement, feedback, and overall event success. Collect data to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and identify areas for improvement.

● Handle event logistics, including venue coordination, materials preparation, registrations, and managing on-site operations during events.

● Provide mentorship and guidance to youth participants, offering them career advice and professional development resources.

● Maintain records of event outcomes, participant feedback, and success metrics. Prepare reports for funders, leadership, and stakeholders on the impact of youth engagement activities.


KPIs to Measure

● Number of youth attending career fairs, workshops, and training sessions.

● Quality and relevance of events, workshops, and training sessions.

● Feedback from community partners, organizations, and businesses involved in supporting or participating in events.

● Tracking how many participants gain skills or career opportunities as a direct result of the program (e.g., internships, job offers, certifications)

Key Skills & Competencies


Skills

● B.Sc or B.A in Business related field

● Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.

● Strong stakeholder management skills, including internal leadership, and sponsor organizations.

● Proven experience in coordinating events, youth programs, or community engagement activities.


Competencies

● Comfortable working with Clients

● Entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity and adaptive to change with the ability to use an agile approach to execute in a fast-paced environment

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to stakeholders across multiple levels

● Strong stakeholder skills at all levels of the organization.
