Job Description/Requirements

DEPARTMENT: Marketing and Operations
LOCATION: Mombasa
REPORTS TO: Deputy Director

Who We Are:
We are an international for-profit social enterprise that aims to bridge the digital divide by refurbishing high-quality, pre-owned computers collected from European and East African companies to provide to educational, medical and social projects in developing and emerging countries with Kenya being our base of operations in Africa. We also provide incubation services for young coastal based entrepreneurs through our Boost Your Business Program and invest in them through our investment fund. In addition, we operate a co-working space and café in Mombasa targeted at providing professionals and entrepreneurs a flexible workspace in which to conduct their activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Develop a content plan in with our local and global strategies;
II. Create engaging content for all platforms;
III. Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics;
IV. Relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders;
V. Devise and implement community communication initiatives;
VI. Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency; and
VII. Liaise with external agencies or journalists to ensure accurate brand representation.
VIII. develop and execute strategies that are intended to create and uphold a positive public image for clients
IX. oversee the communications department and act as the businesses' representative during industry events and is in charge of all external communications activities.
