The farm is looking for committed Agricultural students who are undertaking: General Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture and Agriculture extension and community Development from recognized government institutions on Three (3) Months of Industrial Attachment.

- Experience Level: Internship & Graduate
- Experience Length: No Experience/Less than 1 year
Job Description/Requirements
MAPI Enterprises Limited is a general agricultural farm that undertakes commercial Production of Crops, Fodder, and Dairy farming and marketing of agricultural produce based in Ndere Alego location, Alego Usonga Sub-County Siaya County.
The listed position may lead to employment depending on individual performance during the attachment period with the enterprise.
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture or general agriculture
- Understanding of good agronomic practices (GAP)
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Training in passion fruits, Banana, Mango, and other horticultural crops is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Carry watering, pruning and weeding
- Timely preparation of farm records and record keeping
- Procurement of farm inputs
- Transport of harvest to designated stores or markets
- Weighing of fruits/Produce
- Perform prompt spraying of farm
- Promote post-harvest management practices
- Any other task as may be assigned by supervisor
- Marketing of farm produce and by- products
