About the Role:  

 A Planet Sales Engineer will own the technical support for all sales activities. The specifics of the African market will also require technical support for business development activities. Sales Engineers strive to become the trusted advisor for our potential customers.

Impact You’ll Own:

Pre-Sales responsibilities overall in Africa Development and execution of capacity building measures Development and implementation of use -case solutions for Africa Keeping up team spirit

What You Bring:

Experience of working as Sales Engineer in sales environments in the region Minimum of 6 years experience in Earth Observation/ GIS/ geospatial domain Experience in Python programming for geospatial applications

What Makes You Stand Out:

Great team spirit Ability to understand and follow Planets Sales Process Familiarity with Cloud processing environments like GEE, Sentinel Hub etc and understanding of on-premise enterprise Image Serving dynamics Curiosity for new applications  Self-driven Pre-sales work Great communication skills Fluent in French is a plus and another other spoken language, in Africa
