Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) Following the enactment of the Energy Act , Rural Electrification Authority (REA) has now changed to Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC). REREC has an expanded mandate of spearheading Kenya’s green energy drive, in addition to implementing rural electrification projects.

Job Specifications 

Updating the Corporation Master plan; Carrying out land surveying and engineering survey for Corporation’s projects; Carrying out cadastral survey for preparation of survey plans for purpose of acquisition; Liaising with Corporation departments in carrying out survey functions; Preparing Completion Certificates for survey services; Collating data for maintaining the survey repository; and Drafting survey periodical reports.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:-

Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Survey, Geospatial Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Photogrammetry or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; Graduate membership of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK); Proficiency in Computer Applications; and Fulfilled the requirements of the Chapter Six of the Constitution.
