Job Description

Our client is a leading real estate company in East Africa.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Management, the candidate is responsible for design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures. Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, CEO and other key executive team members. The candidate will play a pivotal role in client relationship, and business growth. Assist the Management in setting strategic goals, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to enhance its market share, profitability and return on investment. Providing market and industry updates to Stakeholders on new trends, products, laws pertaining to real estate. Maintain and enhance the brand equity of Real Estate Division by acting as a representative at prominent forums and platforms. Projects monitoring, Value engineering, Procurement, planning & budgeting, cost monitoring, product quality consciousness, safety, estimation, etc. Responsible to support in successful delivery on time and within agreed cost budgets. Tendering and execution of project within time and contractual parameters and closure. Ensure optimum utilization of resources. Focus on cost efficiency and site related cash flow management. Design development & Project Feasibility. Management of Architects, Local/International, Consultants, Vendors and Co-ordination for project approvals with statutory authorities and other Departments within the organization. Ensure all audit and compliance relating to Statutes and Regulations are in place. Manage / settle Litigations, disputes, settlements, cases, etc. Develop, in coordination with the Executive Management Team, an integrated business plan that optimizes market share and profitability of the project / projects. Accountability: Ability to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance, ensuring accuracy and documentation. Leadership: Ability to delegate, set expectations, and monitor progress of all direct reports. Time Management: Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment and job sites.

Skills/Competencies, and Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Management degree

• Minimum of 08 years’ experience in Managing Projects with 03 years supervisory experience in real estate/infra. industry

• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills and Experience of contract management, Strong commercial and financial acumen.

* Extensive professional experience in a similar position including full responsibility for contracts and portfolio of projects.
