Job Description
Management of the East Africa Tender Unit based in Nairobi
Organize and manage the commercial and contract acquisition process for East Africa
Organize and supervise the production of all expressions of interest and tenders for East Africa
Organize regional commercial prospecting focused on the Egis’s strategy
Organize regional market analysis and business development strategy
Identify regional client needs in line with Egis's strategy and to convert them into contracts, while ensuring risk control analysis
Identification and analysis of potential leads, prospective customers, partners and business opportunities
Concentrate regional business development efforts on strategic clients
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Arrange business meetings with prospective customers, clients and partners
Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
Monitoring of the Commercial Performance Indicators for the East Africa
Regional Commercial reporting
Liaison and coordination with Egis’s Subsidiaries for their business development in East Africa
Supporting the activities of staff identification and recruitment, in close liaison with the East Africa Head Office Human Resource department
Train members of the East Africa Tender Unit
Supporting the Chief Executive Director in Ethics Management for the East Africa
Profile
Profile
Higher education – Bsc (Engineering, Project Management, commerce,), with at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
In view of the international context of this position, oral and written fluency in English is necessary.
Professional experience in the preparation of complex tender deliverables desired
Proficiency in MS Office – Experience working with a CRM system desired
Rigor, efficiency, attention to detail, taste for a job well done, ability to ensure perfect deliverables
Organization: ability to prioritize, anticipate, and manage tight deadlines and peaks of intense activity
Versatility, flexibility, results orientation
Willingness and ability to work in a team
