Accountant

Location: Kathome Market, Machakos

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements in the Machakos, Kathome Market area.
• Utilize accounting software and computer applications for efficient financial data processing.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports specific to the local market.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for review by senior management, with a focus on Machakos and Kathome Market.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations in the specified region.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes within Machakos and Kathome Market.
• Handle routine financial tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll processing for the local market.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, considering the unique factors of Machakos and Kathome Market.
