Garidon Enterprises Limited is a convenience store retailer operating four minimart branches in strategic locations around Kilifi county under the trading name Express Shop. Our retail operations encompass a diverse range of predominantly niche products.      

Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for tax compliance, accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization prior to processing payments.
• Calculate, review and process VAT and WVAT.
• Prepare, review and compare VAT3 schedule with the Itax prepopulated VAT3 for filing.
• Enter invoices into the accounting software.
• Maintain proper, complete and accurate filing of the supplier and invoice records.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing or payments.
• Review, approve and enter general expense bills. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses within the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reporting related to accounts payable.

Minimum qualification.

• Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA I is an added advantage.
• Years of working experience in a similar or related field.

Salary Expectation:

Our salary range for this position is between 25,000 to 30,000 Kenyan Shillings.
