JOB SUMMARY

Job Competencies (Academic, professional and Experience).Academic qualificationsBachelor's degree in cooperative management/banking /business administration or its equivalent

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle the loan portfolio and ensure all loans are properly paid.Communicate with employers to recover loans for staff who are members of the Sacco.Ensure all check-off loans are captured on payrolls for members.Reconciliation of member accounts.Monitoring defaulted loan status.Write timely guarantor notification letters and effect recoveries.Follow-up with defaulters and guarantors for recovery.Carry out debt collection activities.Managing recovery activities as per Sacco recovery policies and proceduresSubmit timely reports to the supervisor.Asses the creditworthiness of new and existing members.Maintaining accurate records of members payments history and debt recovery efforts.Building and maintaining solid relationship with debtors while enforcing collection obligations.Loan recovery through collateral, attachments to guarantors disposal of assets through auctioneers.

Email correspondence, Document and archive management, Office supplies management, Office reception

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree
