This means creating synergy among the different teams to achieve the overall goals of the organization.Responsibilities Management of the software development, marketing, implementation and customer success teams and processesOverseeing and management of the software development lifecycleTranslating business goals into specific software requirementsPrioritizing software features based on market need analyses and company strategiesManagement of software project scope by making tradeoffs between competing software requirements, such as time vs. cost and software security vs. speedPrioritizing feature requests from customer success teamCrystallizing the product vision and working closely with software engineers to define its specificationsEnsuring that the software solution successfully meets business goals and users’ needsMaking tradeoffs between features, schedule, and costs based on their relationship to business goals, company policies, software architecture constraints, and software development team capabilitiesSetting product vision and roadmap and identifying which customer pain point to targetArticulation of business value of company’s solutionsTechnical and user documentation of software productsRolling out products with the rest of the teamsAdvocacy for the end-user and shaping customer experience with the company’s products Requirements and Skills Proven work experience in software product managementProven track record of managing all aspects of a successful software product throughout its lifecycleProven ability to develop software product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive managementSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologiesStrong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job doneSkilled at leading and effectively working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organizationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent preferred
