Baker and Trainer

WAWA-Kenya Foundation is seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our growing bakery team. The ideal candidate should be experienced in baking and pizza making, and committed to training and empowering women and youth.

🔸 Key Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality baked products including bread, cakes, pastries, and pizza

Train and mentor bakery trainees in all baking processes

Maintain proper hygiene, safety, and quality control standards

Keep accurate daily production and sales records

Share daily reports with the management team

Work with minimal supervision and ensure smooth bakery operations

Assist with recipe development, stock management, and process improvements

🔸 Qualifications

Proven experience as a baker, including pizza preparation

Ability to train, mentor, and motivate trainees

Strong record-keeping and reporting skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Good understanding of baking techniques and food safety standards

Passionate about community empowerment and women’s economic development
