Requirements.
° Diploma in General Agriculture from recognized institution.
° Beekeeping (Apiculture) & Beehive fabricator added advantage.
° Good communication skills.
° Keen eye on details.
Job description.
° Setting up of apiary.
° Maintenance and observation of quarantine measures for all new introduction that have to be made in apiary.
° Regular verification of health status of colonies.
° Coding of bee hives.
° Frequent renewal of honeycomb & replacement of queen.
° Safeguarding and maintenance of beekeeping equipment’s that are in good condition and clean.
° Arrange sale of honey.
° Destroy diseased bee colonies.
