Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mombasa for a Cement Plant Engineer. The role involves overseeing plant operations and maintenance, ensuring efficient and reliable functioning of equipment and systems. The engineer will be responsible for conducting troubleshooting, improving plant performance, and collaborating with teams to optimize power generation processes. You will lead and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while driving the plant’s performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong expertise in Plant Engineering and familiarity with plant operations
- Solid knowledge in Plant Maintenance and troubleshooting technical issues
- Experience in Power Generation and system optimization
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational efficiency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in cement plant operations is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of industry safety and environmental standards
