Job Description

African Enterprise International (AEI) is an indigenous interdenominational, multicultural and Christian mission ministry committed to evangelizing the cities of Africa through word and deed in partnership with the Church. AEI operates through a network of National Teams in 11 African countries.

AEI is seeking to fill the following positions


1.    Communications Manager

The key responsibilities are:

i. Receive, review, analyse, consolidate and disseminate regular mission reports (monthly, quarterly & annual) from National Teams and other programs and initiatives.

ii. Receive and disseminate timely relevant reports to the entire AE partnership and other relevant stakeholders.

iii. Circulate Partnership Communication from the International Office and International Board.

iv. Collate, review, edit and disseminate annual missions’ proposals from National Teams. 

v. Ensure that each proposal is consistent with the existing policies and guidelines.

vi. Convene monthly missions reporting meeting, and ensure the matters for implementation are acted on.

vii. Provide quality administrative services to the AEI Missions Director and the AEI Missions Team.

viii. Responsible for effective records management for missions

ix. Administer activities convened/ managed by the international missions’ office.

x. Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time

Person’s Specification

i. Excellent interpersonal skills

ii. An eye for detail

iii. A committed Christian

iv. Holder of Bachelors’ degree in Communication or its equivalent with theology and/or missions' knowledge

v. At least 5 years’ relevant experience

2.    IT Support Officer 


The key responsibilities are:

  1. Provide Office 365 Administration and online platforms support for the Partnership
  2. Manage the AE Website, including ensuring regular updates and feedback.
  3. Manage the various AE Social Media platforms i.e. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, as well as the official WhatsApp groups. Ensure frequent updates and effective responses to interactions.
  4. Design Partnership Newsletters, reports and updates.
  5. Compile and manage the AE Partnership diary.
  6. Compile and update the AE Partnership Directory.
  7. Ensure safe digital filing of various official reports and documents.
  8. Provide IT support and training to the International Office staff and National Teams
  9. Advice management on the hardware and software specifications.

Person’s Specification

  1. A committed Christian
  2. Holder of at least Diploma in IT or its equivalent
  3. At least 3 years’ relevant experience
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills
