We are seeking for a highly capable Contracting and Database Administrator to join our team. As a successful candidate, you will play a crucial role in securing the best possible safari & beach products contracted rates, special offers, allocation of rooms, release periods, overrides, credit facilities, and general terms and conditions from both existing and new suppliers. Additionally, you will handle various administrative tasks within the department, including data loading in our Tourplan booking system and maintenance.

Specific Responsibilities:

Engage in effective communication with suppliers to negotiate the best possible rates, maintain the corporate image and identity of the company, and seek opportunities to improve performance. Support supplier management Assisting in resolving complaints and administrative issues of our suppliers and hotels. Assist in maintaining and updating supplier’s inventory with all necessary information. Negotiating special offers with suppliers to maximize on sales. Assist in reviewing the existing contracts in response to changing trends and market needs. Ensuring all company’s trade secrets, information, supplier/agent contracts are handled with utmost confidentiality. Data loading, updating and quality control. Coordinating with the database team and accurate loading of data and contracts in the Tourplan and B2B systems in a timely manner. Providing guidance and satisfactory solutions on any complaints, queries and errors that may arise from the touring teams on the master data. Interact with all staff in a professional and positive manner to foster and promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communication. Assisting the sales team in understanding supplier contracts and data format, terms and conditions including rates status. Working and availing contracting status reports on monthly basis or on need to basis. Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time by the management.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Management/Contracts Management/Database Administration/ IT At least 3 years’ experience in contracts management preferably in Travel and Tourism sector. Strong analytical and logical skills with special emphasis on being detail oriented. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and supplier relationship management skills. ICT proficient. Be knowledgeable in Tourplan application as an added advantage.
