JOB SUMMARY
Required Qualifications and Experience:High school diploma/GED required2+ years’ experience as a Cook in the restaurant industryAble to read and follow standardized recipesStrong knowledge of proper food handling proceduresAble to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphereServeSafe Certification preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Measure and assemble ingredients for menu itemsCollaborate with Executive Chef and other cooks to prepare meals during dining hoursMaintain and accurate food inventoriesProperly store food items at appropriate temperaturesRotate stock items as per established proceduresRestock kitchen for subsequent shiftsEnsure that food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized by the end of your shift
