Planner Job Description
Receive incoming calls from customer and schedule all service order both internal and external. Serve as information liaison between the service staffs and customers â providing regular updates to customers regarding service that is in process. Keep WIP levels to minimum by ensuring orders are closed on time and ones with issues are reported to Operations Manager for action. Does two months forward planning of service jobs by ensuring parts are ordered on time. Plan and scheduled service jobs for FSE, ensure parts for whole week are picked every Monday. Ensures all FSE have work to do every day. Weekly follow up of smart link leads and advise customers on due preventive maintenance activities. Regular update of customers on status of their orders on back order. Ensure all planned service visits are done on time and communicate early to customers in case of delay. Follow up on FSE recommendations and recommend improvements to customers where necessary. Informs customers as any required corrective actions to ensure a reliable operation of the equipment. Ensure FSE work in safe environment and promote culture of incidents and accidents reporting in TIA. Ensure FSE book all work hours and are booked correctly. Forward planning of FSE leave schedule, ensure adherence in a manner that required number of FSE are available to carry out service activities Ensures good management of service plans by scheduling service on time, old contracts closed on time. Assist installed based experts ( IB) on installed base management. Assist Operations Manager in keeping optimal inventoryRequirements
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related courses
- Valid driving LicenseÂ
-Computer Knowledge, SAP knowldge an added advantageÂ
-At least 3 Year expirence in Customer serviceÂ
