Job Description/Requirements
Location:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Sabatia
The farm is based in Sabatia sub-county Vihiga county.The farm is promoting both Poultry and Livestock farming.
Nature of engagement: Internship (6 months) Stipend given.
Desired Qualifications:
• Certificate or Diploma in General Agriculture or Dairy production
• Good understanding and detection of common cow/ animals’ diseases
• Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
• Milking and supply of Milk
• Animal feeding and feed formulation
• Conduct scheduled animals dewormingÂ
• Liaise with other dairy stakeholders
• Conduct routine animals’ health check up and take appropriate actions
Note:
Students coming from Vihiga County, Sabatia Sub County are encouraged to take up the opportunity.
