Job Summary

Swemi Tech, a dynamic and innovative technology company, is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Assistant to enhance our online marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of digital marketing activities, including search engine optimization (SEO), creating engaging social media content, and producing interactive YouTube videos using stock footage. This role is pivotal in increasing our digital footprint and requires a creative, tech-savvy individual who can effectively communicate our brand message across multiple digital platforms.

Job Description/Requirements

Salary: 25,000 Ksh 


Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct thorough SEO analysis and optimization of our websites to improve search engine rankings and visibility.

● Create compelling and brand-aligned content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

● Develop and produce interactive YouTube videos using stock footage, aligning with our brand's message and audience engagement goals.

● Collaborate with the marketing team to implement digital marketing campaigns and strategies.

● Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Canva and other content creation tools to design and produce high-quality visual content.

● Assist in graphic design tasks, including creating banners, infographics, and other marketing materials.

● Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our marketing efforts.

● Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

● Perform other related duties as assigned to support the marketing team.


Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

● Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar digital marketing role.

● Proven proficiency in SEO, with a solid understanding of SEO practices and tools.

● Experience using Adobe Photoshop and other content creation tools.

● Strong graphic design skills, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.

● Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software and online applications.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

● Creative thinker with attention to detail and ability to multitask
