Job Description

At Heritage where we provide short term insurance products, we pride ourselves on our history of claims payment. This was recently recognized when we won the award for Outstanding Insurance Underwriter in Claims Settlement as nominated by members of the Association of Insurance Brokers of Kenya. We are also rated AA- by Global Rating Company (GRC), for amongst other reasons, our high claims paying ability. This is one of the highest international ratings awarded to a Kenyan insurer.

Job Summary

The role is responsible for growing and managing our online presence in order to increase brand awareness and enhance the marketing efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Certifications such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Blueprint, YouTube Certification, Hub Spot or other digital marketing certifications are highly desirable

Experience

5 years of experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or similar role using digital marketing to support customer acquisition and retention. Management of social media channels to foster brand affinity, quality engagement and growth Experience of working with external vendors to deliver results

Competencies

Technical Competencies

Understanding and knowledge of marketing and communication processes and procedures Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+ and other digital media platforms Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics Experience in audience and buyer persona research Good understanding of digital media performance metrics Familiarity with web design and publishing tools (CMS) Advertising agency background is useful Good understanding of insurance market is desired Crisis management skills Ability to manage social media presence while ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement
