Fides Kenya Ltd, part of Dummen Orange, is a leading company in growers and exporters of fresh cut flowers from Kenya to international markets. Fides Kenya operates under the trade name Dummen Orange. At present Fides Kenya Limited operates on 22 hectares where the Chrysanthemums, Geranium, Perennials, Osteospermum, Asters and filler plants cuttings are grown. Our workforce has grown over the years to the current level of about 1000 employees. We are located 29 km south-east of Embu town and 169 km north-east of Nairobi, approximately 50 km south of Mount Kenya.

Our Fides farm is located 28 km south of Embu town and 125 km north-east of Nairobi.EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Valid driver's license classes B, C, and D, with a clean driving record.Valid PSV badge.Good knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and routes.Ability to operate a range of vehicles, from small delivery vans to large trucks. K.C.S.E C+  5-10 years' experience in driving trucks 5 tons and above. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Transporting company supplies, raw material, cuttings, and passengers to designated locations safely and on time. Adhere to the driver's code of conduct, traffic laws, and safety regulations to avoid accidents or incidents.  Perform regular safety checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition before and after each trip.Handle passengers' grievances and other issues professionally and in a timely manner.Participate in training and courses to stay abreast of developments in the transport industry.  PERFORMANCE CRITERIAOn Time and safe delivery and collection of shipments, visitors, and company goods.Controlled and maintained the cool chain in the truck.Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order before transporting goods andpassengers.On-time offloading & fueling of the vehicle.Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicles under your care.UpToDate vehicle maintenance checklist.Daily vehicle checklist completion.Legal compliance with NTSA, Traffic Act, County bylaws, KENHA, and Airport Security.Why Join Us?Dummen orange has major international ambitions with innovation, technology, and quality high on the agenda.
